Okay, so I don't check LJ for a few days and all of a sudden there is a new PV, a textbook, even a freaking ARASHI JUMBO JET, this is getting ridiculous, right? Soon, Arashi are going to rule the world. It will be like Narnia, only sparklier and without the talking beavers.

Anyway, I have thoughts on the new PV.

1. I know I said I'd watch them do anything, but honestly, watching them sleep was more interesting.

2. Are they in fairyland?

3. How long will it be until Aiba Masaki is so hot the world explodes? Every day he gets hotter, how is this possible?

4. I am happy there's a rainbow though. I'd be happier if they were dancing on it.


Also, I just finished watching Coffee Prince! It is so much the superior Korean drama about coffee!! I have thoughts on that too.



* The main thing that I really liked about it was that he admitted he liked her before he knew she was a girl. You don't normally get that with dramas where the girl is pretending to be a boy, which is a bit of a cop-out really. I liked how it touched on themes like homosexuality and gender without it just being for comedic value, which is what normally happens.

* I also like that when she was being a boy, she kind of looked like a boy. You don't normally get that either. Like in Hana Kimi, Maki-chan actually looks more feminine as a boy, I think.

* I think they were the cutest couple in any drama ever.

* I also like how the love triangle business was wrapped up fairly early, and there wasn't extensive angst in the middle either. The music producer guy was kind of creepy.



I think that's all I have to say. I have a headache and wish I could nap now instead of doing stuff!!

and without the talking beavers. Primarily because no one in Arashi likes beavers. /crude joke. (Sorry. That was terrible. orz Also, I don't know if 'beaver' is slang for female genitalia where you come from, but it totally is here.)

The only thing I have seen relating to Coffee Prince is a re-enactment of it done by the members of k-pop group Big Bang. It was entertaining in super concentrated form. I wonder if i would like it the regular way.

I found the PV pretty boring, i mean how many PV's have there been now of them just walking...

i love coffee prince, it is my all time favourite korean drama or possibly drama for that matter. I love how their relationship and feelings for each other seem so real. and i love how the actress really looks like a guy too.

How was Coffee Prince otherwise? Remember how we talked how all kdramas tend to have a cute beginning, a draggy angsty middle and meh ending. How is this one?

I like to hear that it has taken a less used approach to gender bender stories. No idea how falling in love with someone who is pretending to be of opposite sex works in real life.

Oh man, that video was sooooo boring. I did not think they could top the badly CG'd snoozefest that was One Love. Boy was I wrong. ^_^

Haha, your reasons are the reasons I liked Coffee Prince too. Though I have to say I liked the earlier part better, before the gender mix-up was revealed.
