tomatoes and cake

Why is it in fic that Sasuke always seems to be obsessed with tomatoes? Is this canon? Is it some huge fandom joke that I don't know about? IS IT A CONSPIRACY OMG!!!

Anyway, so my nephew's 21st birthday was yesterday. My sister made him this AWESOME SPONGEBOB CAKE! It looked exactly like Spongebob and was awesome. So I told her I want a Naruto cake for my birthday, anyway, keep in mind that all she knows about Naruto basically comes from my computer desktop and my Naruto calendar (and my ranting about Itachi and his weird obsessions), and the following conversation went like this:

Ant: NARUTO CAKE!
Sister: Yeah, that should be easy.
Ant: OR A SASUKE CAKE!!!
Sister: Naruto would be easier.
Ant: OR AN OROCHIMARU CAKE!!!
Sister: I am not making a snake pedophile cake!

LOL, I love Orochimaru!

Also, does anyone know when the next chapter of Ouran comes out? I read that it was the 23rd but it's not up anywhere. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!!!

If a character is known to canonically like something, then surely his obsessed with it. XP Even if it's in some databook and never shown in canon.

Some people in Yu Yu Hakusho fandom think Hiei is addicted to ice cream and I think this is not even in databook. His mother was ice maiden, so what? He is a fire demon, not ice.

Hm, it has to be blueberry yoghurt cake to get this purple colour he loves so much. And maybe blueberry jam for hair. And conserved peaches for eyes? Some whipped cream for white skin. And I would totally eat the tongue first. And lick the plate. Wow, that came out dirty.

OMG YES! THAT WOULD BE PERFECT! But what could you possibly use for the tongue??? (LOL, yeah that did sound a bit wrong, but HILARIOUS!!!)

I think I would prefer to draw it with jam or yoghurt. Or icing. You can also use pink marzipan and make it 3D. Or maybe give the cake a very special shape so that tongue is part of the silhouette. I think I get a bit too carried away here.

LOL! It would look awesome in 3D!! She's totally not going to make it for me though, but I'd be happy with a Naruto cake! I guess I still have three months to convince her though!
