two posts in two days ==> wtf???

antpowerTotally not because I'm procrastinating in writing my novel or anything. At all. I'm merely taking a short break to recharge my brain!!!
I am now going to do a short RL sum-up post in the hopes that I can maintain this posting business regularly enough to start making proper posts again, instead of random sum-up posts. (Does this make sense?? I am not so sure.) Also, because I really do love bullet points.
* Clearly the rostering guys at work are confused about the term "part time" and have been giving me lots of hours. This has resulted in me getting sick again, this time with this lovely headache-nausea-fever thing that I suspect may be migraines but am not quite sure.
* I wrote a poem for the last episode of Shukudai but was busy and didn't post it and now the time has passed. Please believe that it was epic and tragic though. And rhymey!!
* Final Fantasy XIII is awesome, though I haven't had a chance to play in the past week. Lightning has decided the way to stop Hope from being such a whiny little emo is to let him fight lots of big monsters and things, in some sparkly crystal forest type place that I forget the name of. Snow has just met Cid and that other chick who is apparently going to become a playable character, and there is lots of inappropriate sexual tension between Vanille and Sazh.
* I've been watching lots of TV, on account of being sick and having free cable. Mostly I've been watching repeats of Angel (the season where Darla comes back), but I've started watching Legend of the Seeker and Warehouse 13 too. I'm not too sure about either of these, Warehouse 13 so far seems like a poor man's X-Files and I can't work out if Legend of the Seeker annoys me or not.
* Last night I dreamed I had to rescue Matsujun from a tower. WTF? He was wearing this furry thing around his head and I think maybe he was mute.
* My brain hurts. D:
* My internet plan restarts at midnight tonight, which means I have like 6 hours to download like 8GB or so or else it is wasted!! Suggestions, anyone????

Date: 2010-03-31 03:47 pm (UTC)I watched four or five episodes of Warehouse 13 and gave up. Colin hung in there a bit longer but gave up a few eps after I did. It's one of those 'one trick pony' series. Not much new or different seemed to happen. I don't really mind a formulaic story if the details are new and interesting but these, imho, weren't. So, phooey on it.
Right now, I am not watching any television at all because my satelite receiver is possessed. The repair guy is supposed to be here this morning but I'm wondering if I really didn't need a priest or something.
