I've been feeling super-crap lately. I think it's a combination of stressing about money/getting a job and doing more than I'm actually capable of. I've been combatting this by overdosing on Arashi and playing Dragon Quest 8 and that helps somewhat.

My Arashi live costume picspam is coming along nicely, I shall most likely post the first part either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how lazy I'm feeling. I have Japanese class tonight and need to do some study, because there are these two new guys in our class and they're really annoying, so I'm determined not to lose to them!!

I just finished watching Maou 7. Am now broken. I need to make my reaction post, but I haven't done episode 6 yet, so I shall do both now!!

Newspaper guy, you are seriously too dumb to live. Don't try to blackmail Riida, you'll get the full weight of JE crushing down on your head!!

Newspaper guys is like "Riida is so cool, we're going to go fishing!" and Riida is like "actually, what I said was 'you're going to sleep with the fishes'." This is actually probably only funny if you read Riida's post about how they're going to go fishing for giant tuna together.

Spooky, maybe you should listen to your randomly-appearing flatmate.

I love how Toma's all like "yeah, there's probably a reason why Riida got sent that picture, but it seems kind of random to me, so I don't want to think about it too hard". Spooky is not reassured by Toma saying that Riida will be okay, and who can blame her, really?

Newspaper guy, if you're really more scared of Toma than Riida, then you're a bigger idiot than you look, and you look like a big idiot in that floppy hat. Or does he mean Toma's dad. Either way, it's still a stupid hat.

Honestly, they just make it too easy for Riida. He has a brain the size of a PLANET!

I love how they put the opening titles at whatever random point they feel like, like halfway through the episode. It's less opening titles and more "by the way, in case you've forgotten, Arashi are awesome!"

This is the prettiest lunch date ever.

OMG, TOMA! PUTTING IT TOGETHER, ALMOST!! He looks like his brain is going into meltdown with all that thinking, I'm so proud!! OMG, angry-and-a-little-worried!Riida is the prettiest thing IN THE UNIVERSE!!! I love how he throws it back on Toma and Toma gets all confuddled again. I really don't think Toma can be blamed here, he did a good job with all the thinking and clearly nobody would be able to deduce stuff with Riida being that pretty in front of them.

Okay, this has to be the greatest thing ever...
Riida: The criminal is someone REALLY CLOSE TO YOU!!! AND I MEAN THAT IN A LITERAL SENSE!
Toma: ... ?
Riida: In fact you could say they are STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! STARING YOU IN THE FACE!

I love how Riida genuinely cares about blind-sister!Yuuka, his smile when she calls him is so beautiful. <3333 Newspaper guy is like "if I go visit blind people, they don't tease me about my stupid hat!!". Riida's angry face here is also awesome. HE REALLY HATES STUPID HATS!!

Seriously, why isn't Big Nose Guy a detective? His deductive reasoning skillz are so much better than Toma's! And he does actual investigating instead of running and yelling.

Okay, Newspaper Guy, wtf did you EXPECT TO HAPPEN? YOU CAN'T REALLY BE SHOCKED AT GETTING THE CARD.

Right, so I'm not a big Spooky fan, but THIS SCENE IS VERY HEARTBREAKING!! Riida's face is so HOPEFUL AND CUTE AND GOOFY and he's really wearing so much lip gloss that it's distracting. In a really good way. OH, SPOOKY, I DON'T MUCH LIKE YOU AND YOUR ABNORMALLY ROUND HEAD, BUT I FEEL YOUR PAIN! A LIFE WITHOUT RIIDA WOULD BE A VERY SAD LIFE INDEED!! And then HIS CRAZY LITTLE REVENGE-DRIVEN HEART IS BREAKING AND HIS SAD FACE IS BREAKING MINE TOO! IF YOU DON'T DESERVE LOVE THEN NOBODY IN THE WORLD DOES!!! But at least you still have Nino! And the ranchuu!!

Ah, he has his revenge face back on now, that's much better.

Oh, Toma's brother. They're making a cuckold of you.

Seriously, how could you not recognise the footsteps of Riida's awesome pointy shoes? YOU WERE ALWAYS TOO DUMB TO LIVE, NEWSPAPER GUY!! Ah, that evil smirky face totally owns my soul.

So, at the end when Newspaper Guy's phone rings, starfishdance was like "how awesome would it be if his ringtone was like Kitto Daijoubu or something" and now I can't watch this bit without laughing. XP

Seriously, Toma. How can you be surprised that he has the tarot card? You would think the police would have some sort of process in place for where a close family member was suspected of murder, like they'd send somebody else to question them or something. I think Toma's fail at detectiving is largely the fault of the police department, really. I'm totally overthinking this, aren't I.

But honestly, passing it off as an accident when clearly IT IS A SERIAL MURDER CASE, I think Riida should set about killing the whole East Shibuya Police Department, because they're all so fricking stupid. Except for head-cop dude and stupid-hair-woman, they're okay by me.

Sorry, Toma, even your dad likes Riida better than you. It's because he's super-hot and you're looking a bit pasty lately. I think you need to stop running so much, it's clearly wearing you out.

Ah, blind sister!Yuuka! Don't listen to Newspaper Guy, he is mean and also dead! She thinks that he's being awesome and has sent her the Truth single but OMG IT'S REALLY QUEEN OF PIRATES! AND BLIND SISTER!YUUKA, SHE FREAKING HATES KAT-TUN!!! Oh, Riida is buying her flowers, THIS IS ALL REALLY TOO SAD!!

Okay, Spooky, you're turning into a bit of a stalker. Really. Also, her hair is really big, how is it not weighing down her teeny little round head???

Sometimes I'm just totally blown away by Riida's acting.

OMG, TOMA DON'T INTERRUPT AT SUCH A VITAL POINT! Riida, stop making such guilty faces!! Even though they are incredibly hot, if Toma looks up you'll totally give everything away! Ah, blind sister!Yuuka, you're awesome. Though, that is such a random mix of music.

Why is Toma staring into the sunset??? It reminds me of that scene in Naruto where Gai and Lee first appear, with the turtle and everything. LOL.

Okay, this scene breaks my heart into a zillion itty bitty pieces. Riida should never be making that face!! I love how blind sister!Yuuka says she already knows, but she didn't care because Riida is so awesome and he makes the whole world happy. This is all so sad!! Riida's crying face makes Ant cry! She's lucky she's blind or she'd be even sadder!!! I love how he sort of stumbles from the room.

Someone needs to be writing angsty Riida/blind sister!Yuuka fic right now!!

Just randomly, I really feel like toast.

Toma is waiting for Riida in the hopes of another lunch date, but Riida is having a bad day and is not in the mood. He's all like "GRRR, YOU'RE WORSE THAN SPOOKY AT STALKING ME!". I LOVE ANGRY!RIIDA YELLING AT TOMA! That is maybe the greatest thing I've ever seen!! <3333

I feel really sorry for Toma's brother. He's one of the only genuinely good people in the show and he's getting royally screwed over by everyone. Glasses Guy kind of shits me. I am totally on Team Big Nose Guy when it comes to those two.

Toma's brother is totally going to kill Glasses Guy, isn't he. He better get to it, there aren't that many episodes left and there's still a bunch of people left to die.

Oooh, cake! Spooky has made Riida Domyouji cookies! That's awesome. They taste like love. Riida cries at Sora-chan's total fail at drawing. He's all like "my hair doesn't really look like that, does it??"

You know, Spooky kind of has man-hands. Also, grabby hands. Poor Riida needs a hug, he's had a really bad day! OMG IS SHE GETTING SPOOKY VISIONS FROM THE HUGS??? THIS COULD BE BAD!

OMG, NEXT WEEK!! OMG, SPOOKY KNOWS! OMG, IS SHE GOING TO TELL TOMA??? OR IS SHE GOING TO BE LIKE "THAT'S KIND OF INCREDIBLY HOT"??? I NEED TO KNOW!!!!
