Aw, I'm sorry you were sick! I hope you are doing much better now. :)
I have to say, I was browsing through your icons for that icon meme and noticed "Gokusen" popping up a lot and wondered what that was--so I went to Wiki it and then found the manga and read all the scanlated parts I could find. And I haven't been able to find the last 5 volumes or so scanlated. DDD: And I watched the first two episodes of the jdrama--I have to say I like the manga more. Shin is, um, really adorable in an awkward kind of way. I think I like Gokusen more than Hana Kimi and Hana Yori Dango because Yamaguchi is so awesome (and even though Hana Kimi's cracky, that's just b/c of the jdrama, and I skipped around HYD and stopped watching the jdrama because despite how pretty the boys look, I simply couldn't take them anymore. I would've beat Domyouji out of the school or something. >_>) And like fujiko1601 says, Shinohara is a yakuza lawyer in the manga and much more likeable. Although I'd still ship Shin/Yankumi, because Shin is made of so much awesome and they understand each other so well. :D
