I am never going to be able to beat the Dragonforce song on 'medium' in Guitar Hero 3. Last night I went to visit my nephew, and his friend is like this Guitar Hero genius and he played it on 'expert' for us and MY MIND WAS TOTALLY BLOWN!!




Tennis! I think L playing tennis now totally OWNS MY SOUL FOREVER!

And then they go on a MAN-DATE TO A CAFE! This is so awesome! I love how L is all like "I am now 3% suspicious of you, WHICH MEANS I LOVE YOU 97%!!!"

Oh noes! Mr Policeman Light's Dad had a heart attack! BE OKAY, OLD GUY, COZ I LIKE YOU! Aw, they're taking the man-date to the hospital, that is so much love!!!

OMG, what's with the wacky TV station hijinx? They should totally implement a voting system into it, like TEXT WHO YOU WANT KIRA TO KILL NEXT!

OMG MR POLICEMAN LIGHT'S DAD JUST DROVE A TRUCK RIGHT INTO THE TV STATION, HE'S SO FREAKING COOL!

OMG A SECOND DEATH NOTE! I'm not sure I like this girl, she's going to come between L and Light!

OH! Look at the Deductive Reasoning of Love! What am I talking about, nobody is ever going to come between these two, THEY ARE TOTALLY SMITTEN! LOL, Light has to be fake!Kira, that's so funny. And he says 'But you can still kill L', ROFL!

Shinigami falling in love with a human, wtf could that even happen? I mean, Shinigami look pretty ugly, so to them you'd expect humans to look like freaks. Ahhh, she's the girl he saved! THINGS ARE ADDING UP!

Why didn't Ryuk notice that girl's Shinigami in the cafe? Ahhh, he wouldn't tell him anyway. Sneaky.

I love L eating, it makes me very happy.

I like the shirt Light is wearing here, a little bit cowboy style. It really suits him.

LOL, she'll kill L to be his girlfriend, way to eliminate the competition there, girlie. Okay, she's growing on me.

I think I am going to ship Ryuk/Misa, that is freaking adorable.

LOLZ, Misa totally wants to see the L/Light. She's won me over now. And her jealous rage totally wins.

Heh, Light is totally pwnd by Rem. Or not. He's such a charmer.

OMG!!! L is all LIGHT IS MY FIRST REAL FRIEND! That breaks my heart into a million bitty pieces and yet makes me so happy all at the same time!!! I want to squish L and adopt him and keep him like a pet.

LOL, Rem is all like 'yeah I'll totally kill L for you' and Light TOTALLY DOESN'T WANT HIM DIE REALLY.

Meh, I think I've been inadvertently spoiled for the end of Death Note, but I'm not sure, so I'm just going to ignore what I read.




Ick, I'm running late for the doctor and it's rainy and horrible. I am totally going to spend the afternoon faffing off and reading my flist and watching Death Note when I get home. (And doing those memes I've been tagged for, I haven't forgotten!)

I'm glad that you are warming up to Misa, the poor girl gets bashed all the time as it is. Ryuk/Misa sounds like an interesting ship.

A little warning though - Don't get too attached to the characters. And I'm not telling whether that was a spoiler or not.

I sometimes rewatch the anime I have with my cousin, we are half way through Naruto and have Death Note planned next and now I can't watch it although I already have it :( I read the manga though. I'm her only anime source since they only have "Yu-Gi-Oh" and "Digimon" here which they dub the dub and show 7AM. Not much fun, I tell you. So I know we will get to watching Death Note. They usually don't dub things here, only cartoons and telenovelas and for some reason "Home and Away". "Bold and the Beautiful" gets subs.

The idea that people other than little kids watch cartoons and anime hasn't gotten around here yet. And it's not going to change if they keep showing them 7AM. Maybe it's for the better. Then I don't have to pay attention to the English dub that you can still hear under the Estonian voice.

Actually it's more like a voiceover than an actual dub. It would be too expensive otherwise. The guy who does "Home and Away" is OK, I guess. There was this other guy who used entirely inappropriate intonation all the time and another who had this lifeless voice. Those would have been hilarious if they hadn't been so annoying. Maybe they hated telenovelas and mocked them or something. Recently there was an incident when one of them forgot to turn off their mike and we could hear them yawning turing the end credits. That was pretty funny.
