antpowerI still haven't got around to watching the new Shippuuden episode, mostly I think because my brain is still boggling from the new chapter. I don't understand how people can have the presence of mind to be writing essays and so forth about things, when personally, I just can't get past the lolz.

This is just for Naruto, because if I tried to fit in all my ships for all my fandoms, it might break LJ.
One True Pairing Ship:
NaruSasuNaru. I just have this thing about angsty boys in love. And pretty boys in love. And best friends in love. And rivals in love. And people in love being ripped asunder. And dying for each other, and trying to kill each other, and totally not being able to communicate because they're socially awkward, but understanding each other anyway. And crying in the rain! And so on.
Canon Ship:
Orochimaru/Tongue. One is just not complete without the other.
"If this happens I'll stab my eyes with a fork" Ship:
SasuSaku. They are Naruto's two most precious people, I totally don't approve of leaving him out like that. Sasuke seems to think of Sakura as a sister, when he bothers to think of her at all, and I think that now Sakura has grown up a bit, she probably realises that while she'll always care for Sasuke, a relationship would break her brainon account of he's gay for Naruto and probably also Itachi.
"You're a sick bastard" Ship:
ItaSasu. Just like NaruSasu, only with added incest. And, you know, murder. Sasuke's just so freaking obsessed, it's kind of cute. Also OroSasu, because Sasuke is Orochimaru's little cupcake. With chocolate icing and sprinkles. OroSasu is just full of lolz. And pretty much any ship involving Kyuubi wins: OroKyuu, ItaKyuu, NaruKyuu, SasuKyuu, you get the point.
"I dabble a little" Ship:
I have a few of these. I like GaaNaru a whole lot, especially if Jealous!Sasuke is thrown into the mix. Actually just about anything is better with Jealous!Sasuke, even like Mulder/Scully or something. I also like NejiHina, TemaShika, MadaIta, Team 7 OT3 and OT4 (and OT9), any combination of Team Hebi, and the list goes on.
"It's like a car crash" Ship:
MadaraxKyuubi!! They are like epic rivals of great awesomeness and all that. Again, it's like NaruSasu, only with added crack. SakuKarin has awesome possibilities, as does OroIta. And anything involving Gai. Or Tobi. HEY - TOBIGAI FTW!
"Tickles my fancy but not sold quite yet" Ship:
I like KakaNaru in theory, like when Naruto's a bit older and they grow closer and whatnot, but I haven't really found any good fic. Same with KakaSaku. Probably also GaaLee. I like the idea of it, but the thought of Lee with anyone sort of freaks me out. Oh, and YonKaka, which I've been meaning to read a bunch of fic about but haven't got around to yet.
"Makes no canon sense but why the hell not" Ship:
ItaTen - he's Konoha's bad boy, she's an innocent young kunoichi, what will happen when their paths cross? Hot smexing! Also, ItaHina - just like ItaTen only with double the Bloodline Limit!!! I never used to like SasuHina, but I read some good fic about it recently and now I'm sold. And NaruKarin, because she likes hot guys, and hey, Naruto's hot! And TobiGai, because the idea just occurred to me and now I'm obsessed.
"Everyone likes it but I just don't feel it" Ship:
KakaIru, definitely. I mean, I guess the concept is cute and all, but I just can't see why it's so darn popular. And Iruka just doesn't do it for me, he's too nice. Also NaruNeji, which just seems like NaruSasu-lite to me.
"When all is said and done" Ship:
Naruto loves Sasuke loves Naruto forever and ever the end. (Or maybe TobiGai.)
ROFL, my sister is wandering around the house singing a song that goes 'fat belly, fat belly, wobbles like jelly'.
