ant is bug food

last night, because it was so stinking hot, my sister and i decided to take the laptop into the backyard so we could sit out on the deck and watch Supernatural. it was pretty darn dandy, except that i got eaten alive my mosquitos. i am not exaggerating, i have 26 mozzie bites. TWENTY-SIX!!! does that not seem somewhat excessive to you? apparently i am tasty for bugs.

luckily it wasn't the 'bugs' episode of Supernatural we were watching, or that could've been freaky. but not really on account of that episode is a little bit lame.

today we went to alphabet city for eggs and coffee. my sister and i are co-writing a novel where these two girls wake up one day and the world has ended and they are the only ones left, only they don't realise because they're hungover. it's going to be spiffing, i tells you. we are total geniuseses.

i have been slack all week and have done nothing constructive at all, on account of it is too hot and i am lazy. well, i have managed to read a whole heap of Supernatural fic though. that shown owns my soul, seriously. i can't seem to mind though. those brothers are darn hot.

these mozzie bites are driving me frigging insane. seriously.

It might be time to change the lotion or soap or perfume or something. Twenty-six bites is out of control, I tell you!

Of course, I would be amazed to have one mosquito bite here as there are just not that many in our city and mostly they are not in this area. Too dry.

I don't know, I have always been particuarly tasty to bugs. I think with mozzies they go for a particular blood type or something. Plus, it was just on dark, so I kind of expected to get a *bit* bitten. Not to mention the fact that our backyard is currently some kind of swamp wilderness, on account of our landlords haven't cut the lawn in ten years.

Oh wells, they're not too bad now.

Once, when I was, like four years old or something, I went to the Big Hole area in Montana and got bit by so many mosquitos that I actually became toxic and was rather sick. I remember that it was easier to see bits of my skin that weren't swollen with bites than the bits that were. (My parents were unscathed, they'd sprayed themselves with insect repellent but were afraid to spritz me with the high-test, grown-up stuff-yes, they felt they made the incorrect choice later!) Three words: Use Insect Repellent!!! (silly ant!)

But I did! And we'd sprayed all the back deck with surface spray as well! I am just so darn tasty to bugs that they brave even death to nibble upon me!!!
