antpowerSo, I haven't posted in forever on account of I've been too busy napping and watching TV. TV is fantastic. It is my best friend. Together we eat cookie dough and ignore the rest of the world. It works out well for us.
There is much new and brilliant TV out there and I really need to give my opinions on it. Which I will do behind LJ cuts, because TV and I are thoughtful like that.
Dick Casablancas is hot and my new TV boyfriend now that Logan is all pussy-whipped and boring. I forsee much Dick/Logan and Dick/Mac fic in my near future.
I still don't believe Beaver did it. I think it must be some whacky sort of mistake. I don't think he's really dead either, I think he's run off to Australia to live with Duncan Kane. And Lilly Kane, because she's not really dead either, and it was her who killed Aaron Echolls. And speaking of, why has nobody mentioned that old Donut possibly killed Aaron Echolls. And where is Weevil?
Lilly Kane is possibly also the one raping the girls and shaving their heads. It is totally not Dick because that is far too obvious and Lilly Kane is surely a malevolent spirit.
The Fitzpatricks were boring enough last season that I just wrote them off as a red herring and didn't bother to remember them for this season and that made the whole Keith going off into the desert with a strange man somewhat confusing and a little kinky. I don't thinkCordelia Kendall Casablancas is really dead, I think it's some sort of set up.
Keith Mars sort of gives me the creeps. And Wallace is boring.
There needs to be more Sheriff Lamb, he rocks my world. Sheriff Lamb and Vinnie the PI should have their own spin-off show, that would be the best thing ever.
Has Lorelai always been this annoying? Lorelai Gilmore is possibly the most annoying character EVER. She totally does not deserve a great guy like Luke. She thinks she's so cool because she drinks a lot of coffee and she can't cook. How does that make her cool? And she slept with Christopher and then acted like Luke was the one at fault. How can she blame Luke when all he was trying to do was get to know his daughter. It's not like Lorelai has never acted freakishly weird about her daughter and turned her into a sissy little Mommy's Girl who can't even spend one night in her flat alone without running home.
It's just the same as when she was engaged to Max, who was such a sweet guy. At least then she didn't try to turn it around like Max was in the wrong. I think Luke's whacky sister was right, Luke and Lorelai are totally wrong for each other. If I was Luke I would go and hook up with Sherilyn Fenn. Sherilyn Fenn is totally hot, much hotter than Lorelai Gilmore, and she doesn't have all these stupid commitment issues and she is a better mother and a totally better business woman, on account of she doesn't just faff off work whenever she feels like it.
I think Luke was totally justified in not wanting Lorelai to butt in with his daughter, I mean look at when she had that birthday party and Lorelai just came in and took over. And then Lorelai was all spazzing out because Sherilyn Fenn didn't want her hanging out with her daughter, but when Christopher hooked up with that other chick that was also in Twin Peaks... Madchin Amick? Sherry or whatever her name was, well she didn't like Rory hanging around with her. Double standards are nobody's friend, Lorelai Gilmore, nobody's.
And who the hell lets Taylor Dose do all this crap in the town anyway? Surely people have to vote on this stuff. And you would think that there would be procedures for the county or whatever, and that Taylor would have to submit an application to the council or something, which Luke could object to and it would be overruled by a committee or something. Is this an error or are things in America just done all whacky?
I would also rant about Rory, but I gave up all hope for her when she chose that wanker Logan over the lovely Jess. I think Jess should think of it as a lucky escape, because those Gilmore women are self-involved skank-hoes. Love rocket - wtf???
Also, Michel and Lane should have a spin-off because they are the only not-lame people in Star's Hollow, besides Luke. And Miss Patty.
Michael is hot and possibly my favourite TV boyfriend, though this stupid three week hiatus isn't helping his status. If he doesn't watch it he will slip down to 2nd or maybe even 3rd spot. I like LJ a whole bunch too, but I was annoyed at Linc leaving Michael to go get him, after all Michael has done for him. What an ungrateful little biatch, couldn't he have waited a couple of hours? He made Michael cry! But then, the yellow of LJ's jumpsuit was really unflattering, so I guess Linc had a point.
Is it wrong that sometimes I can't help shipping Michael/Lincoln. It's wrong, isn't it. But hot, nonetheless. Not quite as obvious as the Michael/Sucre, but it's still there. I guess it's not Michael's fault he's so hot he can't help having sexual tension with everyone on screen.
Has Sarah Tancredi's hair changed colour? It used to be redder, didn't it? I liked it better before. She is still very pretty though. If I was a lesbian and so was she, she could be my girlfriend. And if I have to ship Michael with someone who isn't slashy, then I am glad it is her.
I was having coffee the other day and the waiter looked exactly like T-Bag. It was more than a little freaky.
I would say more but it's been a week or so since I watched the last episode and I can't remember much more, except the hotness of Michael.

Space!Archie is a tubby little biatch! And everyone picks on him because of it. *squishes Space!Archie* I can't believe he married that chick. I don't like her because she broke Billy's heart and Billy was a lovely boy. He should've dumped her for President Roslin and then he would still be alive and she wouldn't have lost the election and none of this would've happened.
I just wish everyone could be back on Galactica and be a big happy family again.
I don't like Starbuck's hair like that. It makes her look like an airhead. Why does that guy have her locked up there anyway? I think I've forgotten stuff about season 2, like is the Cylon guy who has her there the same guy who was at the hospital back on Caprica? She needs to escape so she can go see Space!Archie and pick on him for being a tubby little biatch like everyone else is.
Gaius looks hot when he's all conficted and bothered and whatnot. I feel quite certain he will do something spectacular to save the human race and then everyone will have to be his friend again.

Space!Archie will have to get his Abs of Steel back soon, right? I think he is actually my favourite ever TV boyfriend, but only when he is being Archie and not Apollo, because his Apollo accent bugs me more than a little. Archie just speaks so nicely. And he's not a tubby little biatch. *sigh*
Jim needs to hurry up and get back to Scranton before I lose interest. I am annoyed at both him and Pam, if their love is so epic and the only thing that had been standing in their way was Pam being clueless and engaged then I am just not buying the whole wounded pride thing. Jim was my favourite TV boyfriend for a little while, but he's lost serious points with his running away like a pussy little girl. And honestly, I've never really loved him like I loved Tim Canterbury.

OMG, this show has been on 4 weeks and I am so in love with it already. I've never seen anything by Aaron Sorkin before and now I am going back to watch Sports Night and The West Wing, because I love him that much.
I love Matt and Danny. I love them. I wish they were my brothers. Or my TV boyfriends. They even admit to their own homoerotic subtext - how can you not love that??? There totally needs to be more of grown men rolling around together in the sand on the telly. Possibly entire channels devoted to it. Anyway, Matt and Danny totally love each other.
I would comment on the rest of the show - how Harriet has a funny mouth and will possibly come to annoy me terribly and how Jordan is hot and I think I ship her with pretty much everyone - but it's getting very late and the main thing about Studio 60 is that I love Matt and Danny.
I want a t-shirt that says 'Matt is my hero and Danny thinks Moliere is Italian'. Or maybe I could just make a Studio 60 LJ layout so that I can use that as my title.
I just nearly deleted this entire post by accident, so I am going to sleep now so it doesn't happen again.

You get this feeling it is drifting more and more into dangerous soap opera territory with abrupt sensational developments that keeps raining down on the viewers to desperately keep them interested...
But still I keep watching it.

It's got to the point where if Luke takes her back then I am going to lose all respect for him, because she's treated him like such a biatch for so long. Luke totally needs to grow a pair. And Lorelai is honestly just so self-involved that she's never going to love anyone but herself and her little Rory-shaped clone, so she should just give it up right now.
And nobody likes Logan. Nobody. Back when it was Dean vs Jess then you could see why Rory would be conflicted and you kind of had a bit of respect for her and so forth. I just don't see why she would be interested in Logan, apart from him having money and good looks, and frankly that seems OOC for her. She is clearly not the girl I thought she was. Plus, her hair annoys me.
I think the only way to save the show is to kill Lorelai and Rory in a freak accident and have Paris and Michel carrying on the Gilmore legacy in their memory. That would be sooo much better.
I am going to stop ranting now.
