Have you read Footsteps In The Sand (http://community.livejournal.com/libraryofsol/64729.html)? I don't remember where I found the link to it but it's a brilliant Donna-gets-her-memories-back fic.
*nods* A pretty stupid plot device, too! Additionally, the new Doctor is part Donna and I doubt that Rose will appreciate his(/her) temper that much. It's so different from the original Ten.
