things that make me happy right now

* New MacBook Pro - it is pretty and shiny and doesn't spazz out all the time so I lose my important things. It does mean that I can't go to Arashi in Fukuoka though, but I can watch them in HD now, so I'm trying not to be too sad about it.

* Aiba + Jack Bauer - this clearly doesn't need explaining.

* Writing - it feels like it's been forever!! I am going to do a nanowrimo type of thing for summer where I try to write 100,000 words by the end of Feb. Clearly I will need to make colour-coded spreadsheets and things for my word count. That also makes me happy.

* Car! - my sister is going to Thailand or somewhere for a month, so I get her car! Yay! No more bus for me!

* Great Arashi Summer Rewatch Project - I'm going to start on Shukudai tomorrow and will probably post hilariously clever commentary about it as I go.

* Gantz - even though I think it's wrong they're releasing it in America before Japan, and the thought of them dubbing over Nino's voice makes my brain implode, I am still ridiculously excited!!!

* Mary Stayed Out All Night/Marry Me Mary - I know I swore off K-drama, and the concept for this is ridiculously cliche, but Jang Guen Suk is just so terribly adorable that I am addicted. I even watched the past 2 eps without subs, even though the only word I know in Korean is "aigoo". I may make a recappy type of post about it at some stage, just so I have an excuse to screencap the prettiness of JGS and his shiny, shiny hair.

* There is probably more, but I really need to walk the dog now. One day I will post a proper update that isn't all in bullet points, and probably all about the mental deficiencies of my new housemates.

Yeah I don't understand why they would dub it! The people who are actually interested in this movie won't be interested in the dub at all!

Yay for a new computer!! I'm sure Arashi will forgive you and it means you can use said computer to aquire even more Arashi.

The thought of you writing also makes me happy. :3

I know I'm going to be in Japan like a week and a half after Gantz is released over there but I still kind of want to see it in the US. I can't for the life of me get the internet to cough up where they are playing it though. Grrr.

Right!! It's wrong! I am terribly fearful over what they're going to do to Gantz, I love it a lot, even aside from Nino, and it's really not boding well! Hopefully they'll play it in the Asian cinema without the dubs though, so at least there'll be an option.

Yeah, I am sad about not being able to go see them - mostly trying not to think about it!! But I can watch HD files now and when I get my concert DVD it will look super pretty, and I'll be able to watch it forever, right???

Yes! And Arashi look very pretty on it, and the video doesn't jump around all the time and do other weird things. I think it was the right choice!!

Ah, writing is so hard though! I'm out of practice!

You could see it in both America and Japan!! Gantz spanning two continents! They haven't said where it's showing in Australia yet, but I'm sure I'll find it somewhere, I just hope I don't have to wait too long!

It's lovely to be back!! I'm still getting back into the swing of things after my study bubble though - it's so hard to get used to having nothing terribly urgent to do!
