Oh. My. God.
Oct. 3rd, 2006 05:57 pmI have spent the whole day working on my novel. It was going well, really well. I was writing words of absolute genius. Then I was faffing about doing other stuff and OMG ACCIDENTALLY CLOSED THE DOCUMENT WITHOUT SAVING.
That was six hours of awesome work, lost forever. WTF, autosave, where are you?
What a bloody dipshit I am.

Anything we can do to jog your memory and try to recover stuff?

Date: 2006-10-05 03:22 am (UTC)What a bummer. That is so totally frustrating when that happens. Strangely my Word has started to spontaneously blow up in thin air on me lately. It never did before. So I had a similar experience although it was more like half an hours work, but still you never know exactly what you wrote. I was going back and forth adding little details to various scenes. Now I try to hit the save button all the time before it blows up again. I hope you can somehow rewrite the things from your head. Sometimes that really works better than you imagine, but it will never be exactly the same brobably.

Date: 2006-10-05 06:20 am (UTC)But I am also selfish so I have to change the subject and ask you an URGENT question.
Is Nick Riewolt (Spelled wrong I assume) going out with Steph Mcinwhatsy (alias: Sky from neighbours and that singer of that song thats annoying) This is hugely urgent information. My flatmate and I may DIE. I love him.

Date: 2006-10-06 05:54 am (UTC):Scene: It is a warm summers day. Steph Mcinblah is sitting centre stage crying into a pile of her own talentless misery. Enter Nick "Shmookems" reiwolt (sp) Singing and nancing like a happy little rabbit.
NR: Oh the day is lovely. I am so tuckered out from being lovely though. What a fun time I had at the orphange and childrends hostpital giving out toys and inspiration. I am so nice all the time laa laa la. So off to the old folks home to be friendly and give them joy.
SM: WAH I HAVE NO TALENT AND MY HIPS ARE ALSO MY KNECK
NR: Oh No. A crying girl. I will go and help her.
SM: Oh Nick Awesome. You are so nice and pleasant and always helping people. I am in a pickle. I have a bad song and my character on neighbours is one dimensional and pregnant. Will you date me and take me to AFL related places and look pretty near me so people will hire me and remember me for reasons unknown. Also I have nice hair.
NR: By Golly I will! Because I am also Superman and helping people is what SuperNickMan does best.
