The Adventures of Poison Girl
Have you ever noticed the whopping massive distance between how your life is and how it should be?
For example, life should not be arse.
I have been off work sick for three weeks now. I don't get paid if I don't go to work, which means no nifty treats for Ant! No bed-buying or treat-having or haircut-getting. Turns out I have glandular fever (which is mono to you US folk, I think), which means the little money I do have goes on juice and multi-vitamins, because darn it, I really do want to get back to work.
And because I am all diseased and having of infected saliva, my sister's friend has labelled me 'Poison Girl', which is so not a cool superhero name. Poison Girl has no nifty cape or spandex, she only has the ability to spit infection at people.
I am like Divine in that scene of Pink Flamingos where they lick everything in the filthy people's house. I really don't want to be Divine!!
I plan to be healthy by Tuesday. I do not this this is unrealistic.
