I think from manga, anime and jdrama versions of Gokusen, I love manga the most. Jdrama was a bit too silly at times and anime had this stupid dog.
But here are the real reasons to love the manga. 1) Shin's feelings are canon. He even admitted it when his friends asked about it. 2) His friends keep trying to find ways to get them together. They locked them in a classroom once. 3) Once Yankumi dressed up as highschool girl and they walked holding hands. (Okay, it happened for all the wrong reasons, but still.) 4) Manga's version of Shinohara is much more likable. And he's not a policeman, he's a yakuza lawyer. 5) Due to misunderstanding the other yakuza gangs think that Shin is to be the next leader. etc... Want to join us at shinkumi?
