So, last night I went to get a coffee at the cafe around the corner and they gave me a BED instead. That was awesome for two reasons. One, I haven't had a bed in like two years and have just been sleeping on a mattress on the floor, and two, I didn't really feel like a coffee. I had cake instead. Cake + Bed = Happy.

Course, it meant I had to spend all day today rejiggering my furniture but it was worth it.

I have been rewatching Naruto, the Country of the Wave arc. I have thoughts about it, but I'll thoughtfully put them behind a cut, as I realise nobody really cares.

So, where am I up to? Sasuke has just been poked by a bunch of needles on account of he realised he was in love with Naruto and had to save his life. He died and Naruto hugged him and it was awesome.

I love this arc. I love Zabuza and Haku. And they love each other. And I love that they love each other. I love how Zabuza is all like this:

Kakashi: Sasuke is awesome and will totally win. And Naruto's there too.
Zabuza: THAT IS A LIE! HAKU IS THE PRETTIEST AND HAS MIRRORS AND THINGS!!!
Kakashi: Sasuke is an Uchiha!
Zabuza: SUCKS TO BE HIM!!! HAKU HAS SHINY HAIR!!!
Kakashi: When Sasuke grows up he's totally going to be badass and like kill Orochimaru and be all vengeful and stuff.
Zabuza: HE'S TOTALLY NOT GOING TO GROW UP BECAUSE PRETTY HAKU JUST KILLED HIM! WITH PRETTINESS!
Kakashi: Well, shit.

The kid in the hat bugs me. He should go live with Konohamaru and they can form a club. Of annoying kids who have a freakish obsession with Naruto, in case you didn't get that.

And what's with bridge guy, Tazuna or whatever. When he was in Konoha he was all like boozy and sassy, then as soon as he got to Wave country he was all Mr Responsibility I WILL BUILD THE BRIDGE AND BRING BACK HONOUR TO MY PEOPLE!

I forgot how much standing around Sakura did in the early episodes.

Anyway, so Naruto is about to go all Kyuubi and awesome and now I am going to go and watch it.

I wish I had cake now.

*__* You make me wanna rewatch that arc too. My favourite. *sigh* I truly fell in love with SasuNaru at that point when they declared their undying love for each other. Can't get better than that. Heh, I argued with myself about Haku's gender, before he really admitted it. XDD

And Konohamaru/Inari is actually a good pairing-- when they grow a little older and get a chance meeting. *has been reading too many fanfics*

I think I sort of fell in love with NaruSasu when they accidentally kissed. Like, I had to rewind it because I was all OMG THAT DIDN'T REALLY HAPPEN, DID IT? AWESOME! But it was more of a 'that's-kind-of-cool-but-I'm-such-a-slash-h0r-that-I-see-it-everywhere' thing until the wave arc. I think the tree climbing bit really got me, and then with the bridge scene, my brain just explode with OMGTHEYARESOINLOVE!!!

LOL, sorry, NaruSasu just makes me go a bit capslocky! :P

Haku is just too pretty for this world!

Konohamaru/Inari totally works! They're kind of really similar in many ways.

Hahaha, actually, I sorta cheated and SasuNaru was destined to become my OTP... because even before I watched the actual anime, I had read doujinshi. (<-- had snagged some off my sister who bought some from japan) and THOSE ARE AWESOME OMG. So I couldn't see anything other than these two boys in love in the anime. XDD

Yeah, kissing, tree-climbing, dying for each other... they're done everything, haven't they. XD

Don't worry, I'm really talkative when it comes to SasuNaru too.

LOL, I knew nothing at all about Naruto when I started watching, so it was all totally new to me. Still the narusasu love is undeniable! I've never actually read any doujinshi, I don't even know where to find it! :(

They really have done everything. Which is why they're totally awesome!!!

I can send you a few NaruSasu ones, I have a large collection of'em. =D Although I'm more into SasuNaru so I have an even larger collection of that. XD There is a scanlation team called SasuNaru.is.love out there and you can find them if you google 'SasuNaru doujinshi'. There is also a comm that shares Naruto doujinshi, and sometimes, there're some SasuNaru and NaruSasu stuff shared (and it's also indicated who tops, usually).

sunshine_melodi has some really great doujinshi by Piero! My favourite on there is Youth Terrorist-- it's just plain awesome, and Piero draws the hottest Sasuke ever.
