I agree, I don't really think Sam came back wrong, but I think next season they will be all like OMG DID YOU COME BACK WRONG, SAM? And there will be lots of pretty man pain but it will all turn out okay in the end because Sam is awesome.

And who wouldn't want to have loads of kinky sex with Spike???
